Hydrant flow tests are often used to evaluate firewater supply for building compliance and for fire protection system designs. Hydrant flow tests are conducted to determine the flow rate and pressure through the underground water distribution system and indicate the available water supply in the water main. Flow tests are conducted as per NFPA 291 Recommended Practice for Water Flow Testing and Marking of Hydrants. Fire-rated doors are required in almost all residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. They contribute to preventing the spread of fire and excessive smoke while allowing the occupants to safely evacuate. It is therefore as part of the Ontario Fire Code requirements that Fire Rated Doors must be regularly checked and inspected and compliant in accordance with the relevant legislations. ISP offers:
