Fire Prevention Systems & Equipment require regular maintenance to ensure it is kept in good working order and that they remain in compliance with local fire and building codes. However, they are considered useless if no routine maintenance or testing is conducted to assure their operation when needed.  Our technicians are trained to inspect, service, and maintain a wide variety of fire protection systems & equipment. Our personnel focuses on key aspects of fire safety systems maintenance. Records of all testing, maintenance, and inspection activities should be made noting what was done and the date and time it was done. The written records should be retained at the building premises for examination by the Chief Fire Official for a period of at least two years after being prepared, and so that at least the most recent and the immediately preceding record of a given test or inspection are retained. Although facility management can visually inspect various system components, many of the testing and maintenance and some of the inspection procedures require handling of the equipment or component. Those procedures requiring handling should be performed by qualified fire protection specialists. Any test or maintenance procedure having a direct connection to a central station should be made after proper notice is given to the signal receiving station.
